ARSAN has moved into our new office

On February 24, 2012 we received the keys to our new office: we are very happy to be leasing office space from the Sister Servants of Mary Immaculate in Mundare.

Our office is now in the historic hospital building that has been the Sisters' residence. The Sisters are looking for a long term tenant whom is aligned to their principles and whom will care for the building. We are currently leasing a small part of the residence (with our own entrance and facilities, leaving the Sister's undisturbed) as ARSAN's office.

Our future plans are to lease the complete building to establish a sustainable food learning centre.  Aligned with these plans, we have also established the Friends of Food Society as a separate, offshoot organization with a focus on starting the centre.

Find out more about these plans here.

The True Taste of ARSAN took place on November 2, 2011 in the North Glenora Community League, Edmonton.  It was, we believe, a big success on all accounts. Thank you the 100 or more of you who came out and made it a success. To learn more about what this event was about click: full announcement .

The food was excellent and spoke well on our behalf - thanks to our main cooks Kathryn Joel and Brittany Watt who arranged the preparation and serving.

The presenation from the event may now be accessed in the PDF format. Click here.
